A Door of Hope

When did the mercy of the Lord begin? When will it end? God is a God of grace and mercy. We're living in perilous times. Paul told Timothy that even back then in first century, perilous times shall come. Well, we're definitely in perilous times, but the door of hope, does it say anywhere in there that the door of hope was closed?
